Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo Endorses Sam Brown for U.S. Senate

CARSON CITY, Nev. — On Thursday, Governor Joe Lombardo officially endorsed Sam Brown for U.S. Senate, the leading Republican candidate that will take on incumbent Senator Jacky Rosen in the fall. The Sam Brown campaign released the following statement from Governor Lombardo:

“Nevada leads the nation in economic development, diversification, and job creation but our citizens are still suffering from policies in Washington, DC that are driving inflation and debt, increasing the cost of groceries and gas, and making housing less affordable. Sam Brown is committed to fighting to return more federal land to Nevada, securing America’s borders, lowering taxes, reducing crime, and ensuring our law enforcement and military have the tools, resources and respect they deserve.  I’m proud to endorse Sam Brown for United States Senate,” said Governor Joe Lombardo.

“I’m grateful to Governor Lombardo for his endorsement and support of my campaign. Our grassroots Duty First movement is comprised of everyday citizens demanding solutions to the problems we face here at home because of Joe Biden and Jacky Rosen — unaffordable housing; the open border crisis; and the high cost of living because of Bidenomics, to name just a few. As Nevada’s next Senator, I look forward to putting Nevadans first and working with Governor Lombardo to secure a better future for working families and small businesses,” said Sam Brown, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.

Background: Recent polls have Sam Brown and Sen. Jacky Rosen in a virtual tie, as Nevada’s voter registration becomes increasingly favorable to Republicans. In 2022, Joe Lombardo was the only gubernatorial candidate nationwide to defeat an incumbent.
