Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam Endorses Sam Brown for U.S. Senate

RENO, Nev. — On Tuesday, Sheriff Darin Balaam officially endorsed Sam Brown for U.S. Senate. The Sam Brown campaign released the following statement from Sheriff Balaam:

“As Washoe County Sheriff, I know how important it is to have representatives who understand and respect law enforcement’s role in our daily lives. My top priority is to protect the citizens of Washoe County, and I can only do that when we have the resources to support our deputies. We’ve seen what happens in other communities when defund the police movements overtake communities: crime rises, infrastructure erodes, and communities become unsafe. We can’t afford to let Reno become San Francisco. Sam Brown’s commitment to his family and courageous service in the military exemplifies his dedication to protecting our nation. Sam Brown stands with Nevada’s men and women in blue and will be a champion for law and order. I am proud to endorse Sam Brown for U.S. Senate,” said Sheriff Darin Balaam.

“I am honored to receive Sheriff Balaam’s endorsement. As a Washoe County resident, I am grateful for the hard work and sacrifice of local law enforcement in keeping our communities safe. But Jacky Rosen and the Biden administration have tied their hands—putting the needs of criminals over law-abiding citizens and disguising the Left’s attacks on police as ‘reforms.’ As Nevada’s next US Senator, I’ll immediately get to work to prioritize public safety, secure our borders, and support the police,” said Sam Brown, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.
